At Empowered Body Pilates, we provide complete Pilates instruction in small group settings at our inclusive Pilates studio in the Redwood City area. We also offer private training sessions for those who prefer one-on-one instruction in a safe, comfortable environment. Our studio is equipped with a full range of Pilates equipment that is suitable for every fitness level, from the beginning enthusiast to the athlete to those who consider themselves more experienced professionals.
HOW TO START
Whether or not you’ve practiced Pilates before, our goal is to introduce you to the Classical Pilates method, which was developed by Joseph H. Pilates, bearing in mind that each student’s needs and experience level will vary. 3 new client private SESSIONS
These 50-minute fully customized sessions will introduce you to the foundational concepts of Pilates and begin to address long term movement goals. We require that all new clients to EBP’s Pilates studio in Los Altos begin with 3 Private sessions. This gives our staff the opportunity to asses your strengths, set attainable goals, and provide potential modifications you might need on your journey in Pilates. These sessions can be taken in our Los Altos Pilates studio location or virtually for your convenience.
Pilates is resistance training
Classical Pilates is designed as a mindfulness practice to help those who work at it build effective movement, keeping a goal of optimum wellness in mind. A methodical and holistic fitness plan, Pilates works the total body by using spring tension and controlled movements to build overall strength.
